Welcome to Arnold Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine! Located in the heart of Northwest Arkansas, Dr. Chris
Arnold and his staff are entirely dedicated to helping you get back in your game. Dr. Arnold focuses
his specialties in the treatment of the knees, hips and shoulders to better understand your injury to
get you back on the field. Our goal is to deliver the highest standard of orthopaedic care and attention
to your needs, no matter what your needs may be. Either for work or play we want you to be able to
live your life free of pain, and we will do everything that we can to make this possible.
Sports medicine is not a medical specialty, but involves the treatment and care of competitive athletes.
It is defined more by the attitude of the patient and the clinician. The term also applies just as well
to the older adult who encounters difficulty in recreational activities and a healthy lifestyle. In
general, it is more of a frame of mind than a frame of activity level.
At Arnold Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine, we use clinical techniques that are on the cutting edge of
today's orthopedists. In a majority of injuries, the condition can be resolved without a surgical
intervention. In those cases whenever physical therapy is utilized, it is felt to be an essential
part of your recovery. Whether used as a primary treatment or in recovery from a surgical procedure
it is imperative for you to give you full efforts to the therapy regime.
In those instances when surgery is warranted, it is best done with minimally invasive procedures,
such as arthroscopic surgery, thus returning you to your pursuits a quickly as possible. All
procedures are done in a state of the art operating suite with highly trained staff to ensure only
the best possible outcomes.
We want you to feel comfortable in your decisions of treatments. Whether you have traveled across
the street, or across the globe for you treatment, we are available to answer any questions that you
may have. Our entire clinical staff is committed to you, our patient. Whatever your goal of
treatment may be, although you may initially limp into our office, we want to allow you to leap back
into all of your activities.
